2016 has been quite a year for me as I tackled many different ventures and experienced hardships that resulted in my lack of motivation to want to record and be involved with music. My network of support and a whole lot of hot tracks that I came across reinvigorated my desire to put out music. I end 2016 with The Turn Up (December 2016) which features some of 2016's hottest tracks as well as some of my personal favorites. Check it out below and be sure to leave your thoughts in the comment section.
Azealia Banks is back in the headlines, this time taking shots at Nicki Minaj. Banks took to Facebook early Tuesday morning (Dec. 20) telling Minaj not to be mad that she has a collaboration with Minaj's ex, Safaree Samuels. "Don't get mad, get even," says Banks.
The "212" rapper then takes shots at Minaj's looks, telling her to "slim down a bit" and "decrease the butt just a bit," then compares her career to that of McDonald's. "McDonald's sells a lot of burgers but no one is telling McDonald's that they're the pinnacle of cuisine and taste. This is true of you."
The Facebook post has been deleted as Banks has had a change of heart. "Deleting posts as I am not the same person I was two hours ago. LOL," then adding "Hope you Lot got your screenshots. It's all jokes guys. Calm down and enjoy the holiday."
This isn't the first time Banks has popped off on Minaj. In October 2015, she had words for Minaj following her VMA appearance and disagreement with Miley Cyrus. It is speculated that Banks took to social media after Minaj's new video game: 'Nicki Minaj: The Empire,' which features a female rapper named Fan2Sea being compared to a mermaid. Banks has a 2012 mixtape titled Fantasea that features her as a mermaid on the cover.

While the Twitter beef between Kanye And Wiz has been squashed, the Daily Mail is reporting that Kanye is now attacking Wendy Williams in a new diss track. Like most news outlets, Wendy Williams recapped the Twitter beef in her Hot Topics segment on her show, insinuating multiple times that Kanye is a homosexual. Williams called Kanye a "woman" for how he went at Wiz and called Kim his "beard."
After hearing of the comments, Kanye recorded a remix of Aerosmith's Dude (Looks Like A Lady), aiming it at Wendy Williams. Peep the lyrics:
“You obsessed with me/Keep testing me/You may be wearing dresses, but you a man like me/Got bigger hands than me/Let me see, your birther please/A dude in a wig that really wanna be me!”
Kim has reportedly urged Kanye not to release the track citing that it could cause a lot of backlash from the LGBT community (Caitlyn Jenner). According to the Daily Mail, "Kim was concerned that Caitlyn would be offended by the record..." "She didn't want Kanye to be labelled trans-phobic."
If you missed the Hop Topic segment, peep the video below. Be sure to leave your thoughts on Kanye releasing a Wendy Williams diss track in the comment section.
Nicki Minaj has jumped on the remix of Yo Gotti's "Down In The DM" and straight up calls out Miley Cyrus. “Felt them thick lips and got wood/He said, “Kylie wuss good?” I said, “Miley wuss good?”/I said, “Could you pay my bills like O’Reilly? Wuss good?”/I just sit back and observe/All these n***as/that I done curved/If it go down in your DM then baby boy, you lucky/Cause 99.9% of these f**kboys can’t fuck me/True!”

Azealia Banks is no stranger to controversy and on February 1st, the "212" rapper took to Twitter and announced her support for Donald Trump's bid for the White House because it "takes shit to know shit." Banks explained in a series of tweets that her endorsement for Trump is because he has knowledge that is necessary to destroy "big business."
Ok so, I think I'm ready to admit that I'm going to vote for Donald Trump.
While many may not agree with Banks' political views, the Harlem rapper made it clear that her endorsement of Trump is strictly a business move. Banks expressed on her Twitter account that both The United States and Trump are "evil" and need each other to survive. What are you thoughts on Azealia Banks' endorsement of Donald Trump?
It has been nearly a week after Kanye took shots at Wiz after mistakenly thinking that Wiz's tweet "Hit this kk and become yourself" was in reference to his wife, Kim Kardashian. Kanye tweeted today that he and Wiz spoke and everything was positive.
Their wives confused the internet after Kim posted a selfie of her and Amber Rose with the caption 'Tea anyone?"
