Former Serato CEO, Sam Gribben, has launched a new software application named Melodics, that helps people improve their finger drumming (pad drumming or cue point drumming) skills. Melodics "adapts your abilities and music tastes to help you get better at pad drumming, faster."

To help launch the application, Melodics has recruited artist such as DJ Jazzy Jeff, Jeremy Elis, Tall Black Guy, Thugli and Gaslamp Killer to make lessons.

Melodics is currently available for free download for Mac OS X 10.9 or higher and will come to Windows soon. With the free download comes 20 free lessons then the option to subscribe for unlimited access to updated premium lessons and content.
