Available at the end of October 2015, Serato has announced Serato DJ 1.8, the next major software update for Serato DJs. According to the official press release notes, the update will include key detection and display, key shifting and sync, hardware remapping and a number of important performance and stability updates. 

In essence, this means that Serato DJ users will no longer need third-party software to analyze and display the root key of the songs stored in their music libraries and current users of Serato's Pitch 'n Time plugin will have the ability to match, shift and sync songs that they want to key.
